Many reasons for the fault of the Dryer Cylinder bearings are mentioned in previous article. And the relevant solutions are put forward for the reasons  mentioned.  

1. Countermeasures Against Environmental Factors

In order to pursue high production, some enterprises constantly change the environment of equipment, that is, increasing the temperature, speed up drying efficiency of the dryer, which will greatly shorten the service life of the equipment. High temperature and humid environment can cause erosion and corrosion of equipment. In this case, remove the top ring of the bearing outer ring, then add a shim as thick as the top ring of the outer ring. In addition, the vibration of the external environment can cause erosion to the equipment. In this case, the equipment should be separated or added to the isolation pad.

2. Countermeasures Against Lubricating Oil Factors

The protection of lubricating oil to the equipment is self-evident. By improving the use and quality of lubricating oil, the service life of the equipment can be prolonged, and the concrete measures are mainly:

(1) clean the oil tank and discharge port in time, check the cleaning regularly, and reduce the probability of scuffing failure;

(2) the oil and water separator is installed on the bearing to accelerate the dehydration of the lubricating oil and reduce the corrosion failure caused by excessive moisture content;

(3) reduce the moisture content in the lubricating oil, for example, vacuum dewatering can be carried out by using a filter cart;

(4) regularly check the distribution valve of cleaning dryer bearing in order to reduce the probability of erosion failure caused by equipment pollution;

3. Countermeasures Against Load Factors

Examine and repair the equipment in time. We shoud change dryer bearing parts once the equipment is found to be damaged. Or try to use high quality, wear resistant bearings and accessories.
