High speed of paper machine is of great harm to the equipment, especially to Dryer Cylinder bearing, the main component of paper machine. Generally speaking, Dryer Cylinder faults are mainly divided into two categories, namely cylinder block fault and bearing fault. 

What are the Causes of  Dryer Cylinder Bearings Fault?

1. Load Capacity of Dryer Cylinder

Bearings of Dryer Cylinder not only bear the weight of Dryer Cylinder, but also doesn't stop running every day, so the load pressure is pretty large. Once the equipment is running, it is almost impossible to stop, and the continuous running mode has obvious damage to the Dryer Cylinder.

2. Lubricating oil

Lubricating oil plays a vital role in the operation of the equipment. It is of great importance for reducing the wear of equipment and keeping the equipment running well. But the damage of the poor quality lubricating oil to the bearings of the Dryer Cylinder is also obvious. There will be additive precipitation and catalytic oxidation of oil if the lubricant contains water. The metal surface of the bearing can not be well protected, and the loss is increased, resulting in fatigue failure and corrosion failure. 

3. Working Environment  

The main function of Dryer Cylinder is to dry the moisture content in the paper to achieve the purpose of drying. The higher the temperature, the faster the drying speed of the paper, and the more water evaporates from the paper, the more humid the environment is.  Enterprise in order to increase product quality and speed, greatly increase the temperature of the Dryer Cylinder, speed up the drying time. At the same time, because of the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction. The bearing clearance becomes bigger, the high temperature causes the lubricating oil viscosity to be low, the oil film becomes thin, which increases the loss of equipment and greatly shortens the service life of the dryer bearings.
